Foundation Center Library

The Foundation Center's mission is to foster public understanding of the foundation field by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information on foundations, corporate giving, and related subjects.

 

The Robert W. Woodruff Foundation

The Robert W. Woodruff Foundation is a private foundation with a broad charter to support charitable, scientific and educational activities. Grants generally are limited to tax-exempt public charities located and operating in Georgia.

 

The Joseph B. Whitehead Foundation

The grant program of the Joseph B. Whitehead Foundation reflects a strong emphasis on basic human services, particularly organizations and programs that benefit children and youth in metropolitan Atlanta.

 

The Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation

The Foundation devotes most of its resources to the Lettie Pate Whitehead scholarship program. Annual grants are made to accredited educational institutions in nine specified southeastern states to fund scholarships for the education of women. Support is also provided to a few selected residential care homes for the aging.

 

The Robert W. Woodruff Foundation, Joseph B. Whitehead Foundation and Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation share a common administrative arrangement with the Lettie Pate Evans Foundation.
